Jesse Haas Nutrition
Wellness Minneapolis
4450 Nicollet Ave S
Minneapolis MN
Jesse Haas is co-founder of Wellness Minneapolis, a functional nutritionist and health coach who thrives at making deep connections with her clients. With Western sciences in the backdrop of her education and training, her services are heart-centered and deeply intuitive. She combines nutritional counseling and whole foods education to help her clients transform their health in small, sustainable ways. Jesse truly believes in “teaching a (wo)man to fish” so focuses on empowering each client with the knowledge, skills and focus they need to fully hold the reins on their health.

Jesse’s approach to nutrition is a moderate and compassionate one, grounded in scientific evidence and with a holistic (mind, body, spirit) perspective. In her office, success is about showing up – not the size of your jeans or the number on the scale. And good health is about striking a balance without cutting out all of the foods that bring you pleasure. Though she’ll dig into the scientific literature to guide our work together, this is a collaborative effort and you’re the expert on your body. Cultivating wellness does not have to be all or nothing or “perfect.” It’s about starting where you are, doing the work and enjoying the process. Jesse excels at breaking the science of nutrition into bite-sized pieces. She welcomes all to her practice, wanting to share her food love with everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, size, shape or any other qualifier used to divide us.

McKenzie Integrative Medicine, LLC
710 W 40th St, Minneapolis, MN 55409
McKenzie, ND, LM, CPM
Primary care family practice providing comprehensive clinical and laboratory assessments and treatments for optimized whole body/whole mind/whole spirit union. Profoundly effective therapies for those seeking and preparing for a higher, more resonant level of wellness on all levels.

Dr. McKenzie’s interest in naturopathic medicine, midwifery and spirit medicine was kindled while working as a horse pack wilderness ranger in the southern Rocky Mountains of New Mexico more than 30 years ago. It was in those sacred mountains that she was introduced to her first medicinal plant, osha root (Ligusticum porteri), a plant that grows above 7500’ elevation and is used for it’s potent anti-viral properties. From that meeting forward, while working as a ranger, she always carried a nub of osha root in her horse’s saddlebags when she was on trail for extended periods of time. It was from there that she stepped onto the path of inquiry into the transformative healing power of nature, botanical medicine, therapeutic nutrition, homeopathy, midwifery, cupping and other manual therapies.

Keyena received her doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine, certification in naturopathic midwifery and completed an extended course of homeopathic studies with renowned practitioners from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1998 and is currently registered with the state of MN as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND); licensed by the state of Oregon as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND), the state of Wisconsin as a Licensed Midwife (LM) and the North American Registry of Midwives as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). She is a professional member of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS).

She completed the lactation educator training program through the Evergreen Family Medical Center in Washington state and is a certified HART Method/Maya abdominal therapy practitioner and incorporates cupping, gua sha and moxibustion therapies into her treatments as indicated. She has completed extended studies in the specialties of naturopathic oncology, bioregulatory medicine and the treatment of Lyme, tick-borne diseases and co-infections.

Her approach to healing uncovers imbalance layer-by-layer to effectively identify and remove the underlying causes of dis-ease wherever possible. She does not compartmentalize nor treat imbalance in isolation. Optimal healing requires attention to the entire being. She sees healing as a joint venture and especially enjoys working with those who are not only ready for change but also prepared to do the work needed for improved well-being.
