Short Business Description:
I do hypnotherapy to help people discover and release limiting thoughts, feelings and beliefs from the cellular memory of the body and the subconscious mind, while simultaneously helping them feel and experience the peace, wisdom and clarity of their higher self.
Long Business Description:

Clinical Practices: My master’s degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy and for the past 15 years I have been in private practice using hypnotherapy to release and heal limiting feelings and beliefs by connecting clients to their own higher guidance. I use the modalities of present life regression therapy, past life regression therapy and life-between-lives spiritual regression hypnotherapy. Clients arrive feeling stuck in anxiety, shame, depression, or any limiting feeling or belief, and typically leave feeling much freer, and able to experience who they really are with more clarity. Short Business Description:
I am a psychotherapist specializing in helping adults age 18 and up with chronic pain and trauma. I also have a special interest in helping neurodivergent/autistic adults and parents/caregivers of neurodivergent/autistic kids.
Long Business Description:

When traumatic events lead to pain, it can be especially difficult to resolve that pain without processing the incident that caused it. Even if there was not a specific trigger, chronic pain often brings with it grief, anxiety, depression, and anger that all exacerbate the impact of that pain.

I specialize in helping people whose stress and trauma affects their chronic pain learn how to effectively process emotions and past trauma in order to reduce pain and emotional distress.

I do this using techniques with proven effectiveness treating chronic pain and trauma, including clinical hypnosis, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Additionally, as a mom of three autistic kids and someone who identifies as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I also understand how living in a world that is not set up for you can set the stage for anxiety and trauma that often finds itself playing out in the form of physical issues. I help adults learn to navigate their own needs as neurodivergent individuals and heal from trauma that has occurred, at least in part, by living in a world that does not respect and honor their differences.

I conduct all sessions via telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in ordinary times I see people in person in my office in St. Paul and via telehealth throughout Minnesota. The easiest way to begin working with me is to go to my website, www.erinbdlicsw.com, and reserve a time for a free 15-minute phone consultation.

Now for my qualifications… I have been in practice for over 10 years. I have the following degrees: Master of Social Work from University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine’s University School of Social Work; Master of Arts from Yale University; Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College.

I hold the following certifications: Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy; Certified in Clinical Hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis; Certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy by the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety.

I have given presentations on chronic pain and trauma at the Autism Society of Minnesota annual conference, National Association of Social Workers Minnesota State Conference, HealthEast Spine Symposium, and the Minnesota Holistic Medicine Group.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Short Business Description:
My clients are busy men and women who have tried many diets, but haven’t experienced long-term, sustainable weight loss. They are people who believe in eating whole foods and are open to making changes in their lives so that they may live with more joy and freedom.
Long Business Description:

For over 10 years, I have supported people who have an understanding of what foods are good for them, but they don’t apply this knowledge on a regular basis. Sadly, they feel shameful for knowing what to eat to be healthy, but not able to consistently apply their knowledge. My clients don’t lack willpower, they lack an ability to handle their intense lives and uncomfortable emotions. Most people eat processed foods to numb their feelings (whether they consciously realize this or not). Emotional eating is a symptom, it’s not the root cause. Holistic nutrition therapy offers you the emotional support you need to discover and heal the reasons you reach for low-quality food. I believe that whole foods from nature are medicine for the body and that there is no perfect way of eating. She works to understand the “why” behind the symptoms and addresses the underlying problems. She finds it interesting, challenging, and gratifying to support healing in this way.

Catherine recognizes that good health depends on one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Through her practice, she discusses and supports each area to bring her patients full health and healing. Dr. Dolan’s educational background includes a BS in Chemistry from Mundelein College in Chicago, MD from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, family Practice residency at the University of Minnesota- Fairview-St Mary’s, and then she became Board certified in Family Medicine. BreathWork is a simple, yet powerful process that consistently generates profound physical, emotional & mental self-healing & deepens your connection with Spirit. It is one of the most powerful self-healing modalities on the planet.

In a breath session you activate a high vibrational energy that raises and alters low vibrational energy patterns that are stuck in your electromagnetic field. Breath activates the body’s natural healing abilities. As you open up and release your restrictive breathing patterns you will move toward optimal health and wellbeing.

BreathWork can help you to relieve stress, detox your body, increase your energy & vitality, release suppressed/repressed emotions & traumas, clear your mind, and bring more joy and happiness into your life.
