Clinical Practices: My master’s degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy and for the past 15 years I have been in private practice using hypnotherapy to release and heal limiting feelings and beliefs by connecting clients to their own higher guidance. I use the modalities of present life regression therapy, past life regression therapy and life-between-lives spiritual regression hypnotherapy. Clients arrive feeling stuck in anxiety, shame, depression, or any limiting feeling or belief, and typically leave feeling much freer, and able to experience who they really are with more clarity. Most of the people I see in psychotherapy have chronic pain and have experienced trauma. Sometimes the trauma is the direct physiological source of the pain, such as in the case of a car accident or physical abuse. Other times the trauma involves a pattern of chronic stress, such as a difficult childhood or abusive relationship, and the connection between the trauma and the pain is less straightforward. In both situations, addressing what has happened and working to process those trauma memories can help to reduce anxiety, stress, other trauma-related symptoms, as well as physical pain. By addressing trauma in the context of chronic pain, people are able to access their internal healing resources, resolve emotional barriers to wellness, and learn alternative pain management techniques to get back to their lives.
I am passionate about using evidence-based psychotherapy to help people treat the often-overlooked emotional side of their pain and get back to the lives they want to live. I graduated from The College of St. Catherine/University of St. Thomas School of Social Work in 2009 with my Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW). I have a Masters of Arts degree in Germanic Languages and Literatures from Yale University, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College majoring in German with a concentration in Linguistics. I am a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, a certified Prolonged Exposure Therapist, have completed EMDRIA-approved training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and I have completed over 70 hours of training and supervision in clinical hypnosis. You can find more information about me and my practice at erinbdlicsw.com. I would love to hear from you and talk more about how we can work together to help you feel better.

For over 10 years, I have supported people who have an understanding of what foods are good for them, but they don’t apply this knowledge on a regular basis. Sadly, they feel shameful for knowing what to eat to be healthy, but not able to consistently apply their knowledge. My clients don’t lack willpower, they lack an ability to handle their intense lives and uncomfortable emotions. Most people eat processed foods to numb their feelings (whether they consciously realize this or not). Emotional eating is a symptom, it’s not the root cause. Holistic nutrition therapy offers you the emotional support you need to discover and heal the reasons you reach for low-quality food. I believe that whole foods from nature are medicine for the body and that there is no perfect way of eating. Catherine joined Newbridge in 2014, after working at Riverside Family Physicians for 21 years and Fairview Clinic Riverside for 4 years. She works to understand the “why” behind the symptoms and addresses the underlying problems. She finds it interesting, challenging, and gratifying to support healing in this way.
Catherine recognizes that good health depends on one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Through her practice, she discusses and supports each area to bring her patients full health and healing. Her special areas of interest include deeply listening to each person’s story, mental health challenges–especially depression and anxiety, and gut health.
Dr. Dolan’s educational background includes a BS in Chemistry from Mundelein College in Chicago, MD from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, family Practice residency at the University of Minnesota- Fairview-St Mary’s, and then she became Board certified in Family Medicine. So much more learning came from listening to and learning from patients over the years, working with many excellent colleagues, and regular conferences on Holistic/Integrative Medicine. She is a member of the Minnesota Holistic Medical Group, the ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society) and the Institute for Functional Medicine.
In addition to work, she enjoys time with her husband, children and grandchildren, extended family and friends. She practices mindfulness and deepening her spiritual life, yoga, gardening and is especially enjoying her first season tickets to watch the Minnesota Gophers Women Basketball team!

What is BreathWork?
BreathWork is a simple, yet powerful process that consistently generates profound physical, emotional & mental self-healing & deepens your connection with Spirit. It is one of the most powerful self-healing modalities on the planet.
In a breath session you activate a high vibrational energy that raises and alters low vibrational energy patterns that are stuck in your electromagnetic field. Breath activates the body’s natural healing abilities. As you open up and release your restrictive breathing patterns you will move toward optimal health and wellbeing.
BreathWork can help you to relieve stress, detox your body, increase your energy & vitality, release suppressed/repressed emotions & traumas, clear your mind, and bring more joy and happiness into your life.
