Naomi Richman, LAc, received her master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA in 2002. Early in her career, in addition to running her own practice, she worked at UCLA’s Brentwood health care facility and Cri-Help addiction treatment center in North Hollywood. Two years out of school realizing the profound need for an alternative health care model for children, she founded Bee Well Kids, a pediatric wellness center in Los Angeles.

During her professional career she has worked in concert with doctors, physical, occupational and speech therapists, chiropractors, naturopathic physicians, osteopathic physicians, psychologists and psychiatrists, homeopaths, massage and craniosacral therapists, as well as a variety of other health care providers.

Naomi worked as a supervisor and professor at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA). She studied Qi Gong at Xi Yan Hospital in Beijing, China and received extensive postgraduate training in the US and at the prestigious Kyung Hee University Hospital in South Korea in orthopedics, gynecology and Pediatric Oriental Medicine.

Naomi has edited two books on Oriental Medicine and the foundations of Asian philosophy. She teaches and lectures nationally. She is licensed as an L.A.c. with the MN Board of Medical Practice and the California Acupuncture Board. She is also board certified by the NCCAOM.

She now lives in St. Louis Park with her awesome teenage toddler Simon and two sweet dogs.
