She enjoys working with people with chronic internal medicine conditions, including women’s health issues, fibromyalgia, headaches, and mental health and addiction conditions. Huitt has in-depth experience helping people respond positively to treatments for chronic pain, improving both their mobility and quality of life.
Huitt sees the healing relationship with patients as a partnership, and focuses on educating them in self-care and empowering them with resources and tools to heal.
She has worked in multiple patient care settings in the Twin Cities, including Hennepin Faculty Associates, Health Partners and several private practice locations. She has been a faculty member of the acupuncture program at Northwestern Health Sciences University for the last 12 years.
At the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, you will find a consistent philosophy regardless of whether you visit an integrative and functional medicine provider, have an acupuncture treatment, consult with an integrative nutritionist or health coach, or take a wellness class.
